MCSB 2026 – International Conference on Cybernetic Modeling of Biological Systems
May 21-22, 2026, Krakow
MCSB 2026 (International Conference on Cybernetic Modeling of Biological Systems) is an international scientific conference dedicated to the modeling of biological and medical processes using mathematical, computational, and engineering methods.
The conference is jointly organized by the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków and the AGH University of Kraków (AGH University of Science and Technology).
The conference will take place in Kraków and has been granted the honorary patronage of:
• the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Marcin Kulasek,
• the Minister of Health, Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda,
• the Vice-Rector of the Jagiellonian University for Medical College, Prof. Maciej Małecki,
• the Rector of the AGH University of Science and Technology, Prof. Jerzy Lis,
• the Committee of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering PAS.
The MCSB conference has a long-standing and well-established tradition, dating back nearly 50 years, and the 2026 edition will be the 10th anniversary edition.
MCSB brings together specialists in biocybernetics, biomedical engineering, bioinformatics, bioengineering, and medical sciences, creating a space for interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and scientific collaboration in the fields of:
• modeling of biological processes,
• biomedical data analysis,
• application of computational methods in medicine,
• artificial intelligence and machine learning methods,
• biomedical data visualization techniques,
• virtual, mixed, and augmented reality,
• education in health sciences (digital education).
Particular emphasis is placed on integrating theoretical and practical approaches.
