Meeting of the Council of Chairs of the Scientific Committees of the Polish Academy of Sciences

On 10 December 2025, a meeting of the Council of Chairs of the Scientific Committees of PAN was held at the Staszic Palace in Warsaw.

The meeting focused on the popularization of science as one of the key challenges facing the scientific community. The meeting was attended by Dr Karolina Zioło-Pużuk, Minister of Science and Higher Education. Among the topics discussed were issues related to the planned reform of the Polish Academy of Sciences Act and the rules governing the evaluation of scientific institutions in 2026–2030.

The meeting was accompanied by a panel discussion entitled “The Meanders of Science Popularization: Assumptions and Practice.”
